Alper Yıldırım teaches project-based courses in visual communication design, combining formal experimentation, critical research and professional production. He develops the complete structure of the courses he teaches, including learning outcomes, weekly progression, project briefs, assessment criteria and final presentations.

He currently teaches part-time in the Visual Communication Design departments at TED University and TOBB University of Economics and Technology, and has previously taught at Bilkent University.
