MIMAROGLU REMIX PROJECT
Mimaroğlu Remix Project is a collective audiovisual project created and curated by director Serdar Kökçeoğlu and producer Dilek Aydın. Based on previously unseen 8mm films from experimental composer İlhan Mimaroğlu’s personal archive, the project invited more than thirty visual artists and musicians to reinterpret the material as fifteen original audiovisual works, connecting archival memory with contemporary sound and moving-image practices.
I have composed original music for the project and later presented a live audiovisual performance at Yermekân, accompanied by live video works by Hazel Kılınç and Fatih Karatekin. The project was presented at Yermekân and Istanbul Modern and was subsequently released on MUBI.
